What is the Stockholm Archipelago Winter Tour?

A guided 1.5 hour boat tour on a 100% electric boat. It starts in the old town, takes in the central waterside landmarks, then heads around Djurgården and out into the archipelago before returning to the city.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

The tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. Adult tickets are 329 SEK and child tickets are 229 SEK. You will find all available departures in the booking panel.

Departures are at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00. The winter season opens on 4 December 2026 and runs to 10 January 2027: Fridays to Sundays up to 20 December, then every day from 21 December. There are no departures on 24 December or 1 January.

Only if you want to be. There is a heated indoor area, and outdoor seating if you would rather be out in it. There is a bar on board serving glögg, hot chocolate and coffee, plus snacks and a toilet.

What you will see

The route starts in the heart of the city at the historical old town (Gamla Stan) and will take you past all the central waterside locations like the Royal Castle, National Museum, Royal Theatre, Strandvägen and Vasa Museum.

The tour will then head out of the city round the beautiful island of Djurgården to the archipelago, where travellers can see the lovely islands of Fjäderholmarna, Nacka and Lidingö, before returning back to the city.
